COSTS, PLAINLY
What a big tent costs.
We don't publish prices — not to be cagey, but because the honest total depends on things a price tag can't see. These are the drivers.
THE DRIVERS
What moves the total
| Fabric | Weight, condition, coating, and repairs. Heavier vinyl lasts longer and costs more, and documented condition tells you what you're really getting. |
|---|---|
| Frame and hardware | Material and completeness. Missing poles and fittings are the hidden cost of used gear — replacing them adds up fast. |
| Size and configuration | How big it sets up, and in how many sections. Walls and doors add to it. A structure that sets up in sections can start smaller and grow. |
| Condition and documentation | Inspected and documented, or as-found. Documentation takes the seller effort, and saves the buyer surprises. |
| Certification | Flame paperwork and permitting. Traceable fire certification is part of what makes a tent usable for public gatherings. |
| Freight | Distance, trailers, and loading. Big structures travel in semi trailers, and moving them is a real line item. |
| Setup | Crew, supervision, and the site itself. Ground, access, and anchoring all play a part. |
